Wodonga is an Australian city situated on the Victorian side of its border, shared with New South Wales. Lying within the local government area of the City of Wodonga, the site is located 300 km northeast of the city of Melbourne.

The first post office of Wodonga was opened on 1 June 1856, which was known by the name Belvoir until 26 July 1869. The city was initially named Wodonga and was later renamed Belvoir, which was again changed back to Wodonga.
