Crafted from timeless brush box timber and other native woods, the building is as solid and appealing as the day it was completed. After setting up their home they began enhancing their surroundings. Over the next five years they cleared the scrub and planted over two thousand native trees. They created gardens to form an environment where birds and wildlife flourish in a tranquil oasis. Then after building a huge shed to hold his kilns, the potter set to work and began to produce the fine art works many of which adorn the house and gardens.
