The road last had gravel topping added 13 years ago being coarse now and whilst it readily 4wd-able, some work for 2wds is needed. It has a tiny shack with rudimentary facilities and a wood heater. All just 15 minutes to New Norfolk town with Mitre10, Woolworths, cafes and restaurants and as little as 45 minutes to Hobart.
