Environmentally sustainable, Restdown has been carefully restored to maintain its historical presence. The power supply is anything but old fashioned. Restdown is not connected to the mains electricity grid. A 24V system consisting of solar panels, inverter and 100amph gel battery bank is supported by a 6KVA back up diesel generator, along with a separate hot water system and bottled gas.
