Overview Araluen is a rural suburb within the Gympie Region, Queensland. As of the 2016 census, Araluen was home to 614 residents. The suburbs surrounding Araluen are Chatsworth, Tamree, Banks Pocket, Veteran, Two Mile, Gympie, and Victory Heights.
Living in Araluen As a rural town, there are only a few facilities in Araluen. One of the notable establishments here is the Gympie Bone Museum, a tourist attraction in the area. It is the country’s first and only museum that is entirely dedicated to the art and science of modern bones and skeletons.
