The main section of Bensville is centred on Kallaroo Road. It also consists of a small park, video store, coffee shops, general store, hair salons, and business owners added more shops in 2005. Upon the conduction of the 2016 census, Bensville has a population of 2,545 residents.

History of Bensville Bensville is named after Benjamin Davis, whose father had been a school teacher at Kincumber, and Davistown is named after his family. Benjamin started a shipbuilding business around 1850 and owned 1,000 acres of land in the area. A post office opened, then was called Bensville in honour of Benjamin.
