Overview Forbes is a settlement situated on Newell Route, between Parkes and West Wyalong in New South Wales, Australia. Forbes had a community of 9,350, according to the 2016 census. Moreover, this suburb is named in Honor of Francis Forbes, the first Chief Justice of New South Wales.

Moreover, the Albion Hotel, once a Cobb and Co. stagecoach stop, has tunnels utilised during the gold rush to transport gold and currency to and from institutions, reducing the possibility of robbery. However, the Albion Hotel burned down on February 10, 2009, destroying years of human history and souvenirs.
