Overview Mirani is a small rural town that is located within the Mackay Region of Queensland, Australia. It lies in the heart of the Pioneer Valley and is surrounded by sugar cane plantations and sugar mills. It is located 30 km west of Mackay and 1,048 km north-northwest of Brisbane.
Mirani, located at an elevation of 120 metres, is part of the federal division of Capricornia. It has many neighbouring suburbs such as Mount Martin, Benholme, Septimus, Mia Mia, Devereux Creek, Marian, and Kinchant Dam.
