Overview Mount Colah is an outer suburb in Northern Sydney in New South Wales. It is part of the Hornsby Shire local government area with an approximate distance of 29 km from Sydney. It is more commonly referred to as “Far Northern” because of its geographic location. It varies in elevation, with some parts at 68 metres and the others at 206 metres above sea level. Mount Colah is bound by the Hornsby Heights to the north and west, Asquith to the south, and North Wahroonga to the southeast.
