Overview Oxenford is a suburb in the City of Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. The Coomera River borders it to the West and North, and the Pacific Motorway to the East. It shares the boundaries with Universal Street, the Gaven Arterial Road, Binstead Way, and Kopps Road to the South. As per the 2016 census, the population of the suburb was 11,842 people.

History of Oxenford Oxenford was named after the railway station, which was named after William Robert Oxenford. He bought 160 acres in the Coomera district in 1869. In 1987, Oxenford State School was opened, and in 1995, Gaven State School was opened. The Beenleigh railway line to Southport extended to form the South Coast railway line.
