Both Bundaberg Ring Road and Goodwood Road intersect the locality, while the North Coast railway line passes through the town from south to north. Fascinatingly, the Thabeban railway station is not part of its zone but rather outlines the northern suburbs of Avenell Heights and Norville. Based on the 2016 census, the population is 2,840.
Living in Thabeban Thabeban is close to most attractions in the city centre. Most of the houses are nestled in the eastern and southern portions. History of Thabeban One of the oldest structures in the area is the Thabeban State School. Established in 1917, the school now serves as the primary educational ground in the suburb. Another historical development in Thabeban was St. Luke's Anglican church. It was constructed in 1984 in honour of Assistant Bishop Schultz. Decades later, the religious building was officially shut down in 2004.
