Overview Wright is a thriving suburb in the Molonglo Valley district of Canberra, Australian Capital Territory (ACT), which is still developing. It is neighboured by the following suburbs: Molonglo, Coombs, Duffy, and Holder. As of the 2016 census, the population of Wright was 2,753.
Living in Wright Wright is a developing suburb with ongoing construction. It is built in a prominent area, and therefore, all the residential blocks in this suburb have been sold. History of Wright Wright was named in honour of Judith Arundell Wright, a poet, environmentalist and Aboriginal rights advocate. The first house in Wright was completely constructed in 2011. Wright was one of the first suburbs to be built in the Molonglo Valley region, home to more than 5000 people. Many new flats were built in the suburb in December 2015.
