Overview Bardia is a suburb of Sydney situated in the Macarthur area in New South Wales. It lies in both the local government area of the City of Liverpool and the City of Campbelltown. It is approximately 44 kilometres southwest of the central business district of Sydney and has a population of 19,985 based on the census data of 2016.

The suburb has a good transportation service as it has rail networks and trains accessible every fifteen minutes. History of Bardia Bardia was officially designated as a suburb on December 18, 2009. It got its name after the "Bardia Barracks" near Ingleburn. It was named in honour of the victorious involvement of the local 16th division in the Battle of Bardia, the first Australian battle in World War II.
