History of Boneo Buninyong, a narrow agricultural enterprise undertaken by the Meyricks family in 1840, inspired the name of Boneo, which has a wide variety of scenery. The majority of it consists of uneven grassed dunes, a portion of which is called The Cups. Formerly cultivated with natural trees, harvesting for firewood and a severe fire in the 1890s converted it to grasslands, which was harmed by rabbit infestation. Contamination, wire fencing, and the introduction of grassland finished the fundamental alteration of the terrain in the early 1900s.
