Living in Glenhaven Glenhaven is a small neighbourhood in Hills District that is often overlooked by its adjacent suburbs. However, this tiny locality is an excellent place surrounded by scenic views from various parks and reserves. It is a quiet suburb that is mainly residential. Most of the homes here are bigger, especially in the northern section. Additionally, there are plenty of retirement villages within the zone. Whilst public transport is not that excellent; you won’t have a hard time because of the bus services from Castle Hill and Dural. And along Glenhaven Road and Castle Towers is an excellent shopping complex.
History of Glenhaven The original name of Glenhaven was Sandhurst. But even with this change, this particular name is still significant among the locals. It serves as the most distinguished street in the suburb, together with Crego Rod, the highest pathway in the area. Glenhaven combines the upper portion of the valley (The Glen) and the lower section (The Haven).
