History The Goolwa Beach is a long stretch of rocky shoreline which stretches along the eastern coast of South Australia. In 1837, when the first settlers arrived in Goolwa, they quickly set up a wharf and set out to trade with other towns and settlements, and also mined copper and lead from the area.
