Overview Park Ridge is a suburb of the City of Logan, Queensland, Australia. It is situated on the West of Logan City and is known for its rural setting. The Mount Lindesay Highway bounds some part of the suburb. As per the 2016 census, the suburb had a population of 2,503.

History of Park Ridge Park Ridge was initially called Logan Ridges until the early 1890s. The name was changed with the establishment of the Post office and reflected the park-like look and feel of the area. The early settlers in the area were from Yorkshire and part of the industries like timber-getting and farming. These two industries dominated the suburb until tobacco growing became popular. Later, poultry farming also became famous, with the Ingham’s Chickens becoming the major employer.
