History of Regents Park Regents Park was a part of Browns Plains before it was integrated with Heritage Woods estate. Its history began with planned real estate development in the area in the early 1980s. Real estate developers named the eastern part Heritage Park and the extent to the south of Browns Plains as Regents Park. The Logan city council initially didn’t agree to the name but accepted it in 1986. The suburb was officially named Regents Park in June 1987.
