Overview Lying 95 kilometres southwest of the Melbourne Central Business District, Portsea is a seaside town on the Mornington Peninsula. It is the westernmost town on the peninsula and lies opposite Port Phillip Bay. According to the 2016 census, Portsea had 510 residents.
