The area was later occupied by European settlement. The Roseville Chase Post office opened in 1953 and closed in 1994.
Contemporary historians say the greatest moment of Roseville Chase in the modern era was when the Olympic Torch passed through the suburb on September 14, 2000, on its way from Mt Olympus in Greece to Stadium Australia in Homebush Bay.
