Roseville Chase is 11 kilometres northwest of the central business district of Sydney. It is part of the local government area of the Ku-ring-gai Council.

History of Roseville Chase Roseville Chase was originally inhabited by Australian Aboriginal people. Their marks, in the form of hand stencils, are still visible in rock shelters in the area. The area was later occupied by European settlement. The Roseville Chase Post office opened in 1953 and closed in 1994.

Contemporary historians say the greatest moment of Roseville Chase in the modern era was when the Olympic Torch passed through the suburb on September 14, 2000, on its way from Mt Olympus in Greece to Stadium Australia in Homebush Bay.
