History of Tallebudgera Valley The history of Tallebudgera Valley is closely linked to that of Tallebudgera. In the early postwar years of the town’s history, the area was used for dairy farming and for growing bananas. The dairying activity died down when the area was developed for rural and residential living. The name of the town is based on an Aboriginal word that means “good fish”.
