Even with the railway station, the place still has limited commercial happenings. Complementing the peaceful surrounding is the architectural history that encircles the entire area. Most of the residential houses here are designed by notable architects. Additionally, the majority of the residents are families. Several bushwalks and parks are found in the area too. These are Warrawee Public School and Knox Grammar School. Whilst there aren’t a lot of things to do at night, the place is strategically sandwiched by two busy localities, so nothing to worry about.

History of Warrawee The name Warrawee was said to originate from an Aboriginal term that means “rest a while” or “stop here”. In particular, its name derived from the railway station that was subsequently fastened to a nearby suburb. The oldest homes in the area were built during the 18th century, and these include Pibrac (1888), Cheddington (1890), and such.
