Overview Warriewood is a northern suburb in the Northern Beaches Council local government area of New South Wales, Australia. Home to 7499 residents (as of 2016), it covers an area of 4.2 square kilometres. The suburb is located 26 km north of Sydney’s CBD area. It also has a few neighbouring suburbs such as Ingleside, Mona Vale, Elanora Heights, and North Narrabeen.
Living in Warriewood Before its development, the suburb of Warriewood was a ‘wet’ part of the coast. This was typical of the suburbs in the northern beaches of Sydney. The rezoning of the area led to the development of various residential dwellings and infrastructure. More than 49% of the private homes in the suburb are separate houses, and the rest are semi-detached and apartments.
