Overview Westbrook is a town in South-Eastern Toowoomba, Queensland. Westbrook is located 110 kilometres southwest of Toowoomba and 116 kilometres west of Brisbane. This town in the federal electorate of Groom has an approximate area of 70.5 km2 and a population of 3,885 (2016).
Living in Westbrook Westbrook, with its old-fashioned charm, is lined by restaurants, verandas, and little shops. This suburb is home to the Westbrook War Memorial, located next to the Westbrook Public Hall, designed by the Bruce Brothers of Toowoomba. The residents built it before 1922 to honour those who fought and died during the First World War.
The Westbrook Homestead at Coupers Road was built from 1864 to 1867. It has two single-storey stone buildings rising above Westbrook Creek. The Bunker's Hill State School offers primary education (Prep-6) for boys and girls. Westbrook does not have secondary schools. Library services are provided by a mobile library that comes to Main Street every Saturday.

Westbrook got its name from the Westbrook pastoral run given by John'Tinker' Campbell in 1841. In 1877, 11,500 acres of land was recovered from the Westbrook pastoral run to set up smaller farms. The once small rural town is today one of the fastest-growing suburbs in Toowoomba.
