Overview Bayview is a suburb positioned in the Northern Beaches region of Sydney. Pittwater and Church Point bound it on the north and other localities on the south and east, including Ingleside, Mona Vale, Newport. The western section is largely McCarrs Creek Reserve and is outlined by the McCarrs Creek Road. Based on the 2016 reports, 3,620 people were residing in the area.

The history of Pittwater stemmed from the exploration of Governor Arthur Philip in 1788, where he spotted the area. He then named it after the former prime minister of the United Kingdom, William Pitt the Younger.
