Overview Beecroft is one of the oldest established suburbs in New South Wales. It is located on the Upper North Shore of Sydney, 22 kilometres northwest of the Sydney central business district. The suburbs surrounding Beecroft are West Pennant Hills, Pennant Hills, Cheltenham, Carlingford, and Epping.
Living in Beecroft The commercial hub in the suburb is mainly centred between Beecroft Road and Beecroft railway station. The blocks around this area are restaurants, a major supermarket, a medical centre, an animal clinic, and a shopping mall called Beecroft Village arcade.
The suburb’s railway station is on the Northern Line of the Sydney Trains network that also acts as an intercity and freight train thoroughfare. Several bus routes also service Beecroft.

History of Beecroft Beecroft was originally an orchard country before it took shape into what it is today. Sir Henry Copland named the suburb after the maiden name of his two sisters Hannah and Mary Beecroft. The Copeland’s are also remembered as the suburb’s streets on the east-west are named after them.
