Overview Bossley Park of New South Wales is a central outer-west suburb on the eastern edge of Western Sydney Parklands and nature reserve. Under the administrative control of the City of Fairfield council, the locality lies 36 km west of Sydney CBD. This suburb borders Wetherill Park to its north, Prairiewood to the east and Greenfield Park and Abbotsbury to the south. It had 14,584 residents at the 2016 census.

History of Bossley Park John Brown Bossley, an English settler, owned a vast tract of land and named it Edensor estate. Eighteen years after his death, the estate was divided in 1890. The northern part was named Bossley Park, which had a post office in 1895. Soon after World War II, the locality saw a rising number of immigrants from Italy. Bossley Park transitioned from its rural landscape to a bustling suburban hub during the 1970s, following massive real estate development.
