History of Edensor Park John Brown Bossley arrived in Australia in 1838 and practised his chemistry in Sydney. He built an English-styled farmhouse near Paddock Creek and named Edensor, a village in Derbyshire, England. The residential area has two primary schools, and the suburb has three high schools. It is home to the Sydney United Sports Centre and the Sydney United football team.
