History of Bridgeman Downs It was during November 1860 when Henry St John Bridgeman bought land in the area. It was surrounded by Albany Creek Road, Bridgeman Road, and Beams Road. The development of the residential area started in the late 1980 and early 1990s. In 1981, the Anglican Church of the Resurrection was established. Today, the area is a preferred location for both individuals and families.
