History of Bundall Bundall originated from an Aboriginal term that means a prickly vine species. In the earlier years, the area served as the territory of Edmund Henry Price, a British landowner, in 1862. During his time, he formed the Bundall sugarcane plantation. Eventually, the expanse was utilised for dairy farming until urban developments arose later. In 1885, the Bundall Provisional School was inaugurated. Twenty-four years after that, the school was renamed Benowa State School.
