Overview Eudlo is a locality and a small hinterland town in Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Neighbouring Eudlo are the suburbs of Montville, Landers Shoot, Palmwoods, Chevallum, Balmoral Ridge, Ilkley, Diamond Valley, and Mooloolah Valley. According to the 2016 census, Eudlo has a population of 1,117.
Living in Eudlo Eudlo is a historic timber town set on a luscious green hilly area. Located in the suburb's centre is the Eudlo railway station, a town park with sports facilities, a post office, cafes, and public hall and recreation grounds.

History of Eudlo The suburb's name originated from the Aboriginal term that describes freshwater eel.
The first settlers were primarily cattlemen and timber getters, who arrived here around the 1860s. However, land selections for agriculture only took place 20 years after.
In 1891, a railway line close to the area began to operate, which opened Eudlo and neighbouring localities to more settlers and allowed the movement of timber and other local produce. It was also during this year when the Eudlo post office was opened.
