Everton Hills is surrounded by a few suburbs like Bunya, McDowall, Arana Hills, Keperra, Mitchelton, and Everton Park.
Living in Everton Hills Everton Hills is a residential suburb that adjoins the nearby Everton Park. The two suburbs are divided by the Boundary Park, called as such as it serves as the boundary between both suburbs. It was in 1965 when the first of many housing estates were developed. Along with these housing estates, there were also numerous commercial developments in the area. It is home to the senior campus of the Prince of Peace Lutheran College. There are also several businesses within this suburb, such as hardware stores, automotive services, and the main shopping centre – Brookside Shopping Centre.
History of Everton Hills Everton Hills is formerly a part of the Pine Rivers shire. It was used as a timber reserve in the 1870s but was later subdivided in the 1930s. It was established as its own separate suburb in 1979. It was named after the Everton Lodge in South Pine Road.
