Overview Glenwood is a suburb positioned northwest of Sydney’s CBD. This triangular-shaped locality is sandwiched by two major transport lines―Westlink M7 and Old Windsor Road and Sunnyhold Road.
The area is included in Blacktown City, though it is within the Hills District of the Greater Western Sydney expanse. And based on the 2016 census, it has a recorded number of 28,760 residents.

History of Glenwood Glenwood was named after the historic structure within the suburb, Glenwood Park. However, this title wasn’t the original name of the property. It was previously called Norfolk Vale from 1846 to 1882. Then from 1882 to 1941, it transitioned into Sorrento. Accordingly, the locality was only documented as a suburb in 1996, and it was the first location in Rouse Hill to be developed.
