Overview Maidstone is a suburb located 8 km northwest of Melbourne’s CBD. It is part of Maribyrnong City with a population of 26,295, according to the 2016 census. The surrounding suburbs include Braybrook, Maribyrnong, Avondale Heights, West Footscray, and Footscray.
Ashley Street outlines the western section while Ballarat Road, Churchill Avenue, and Hampstead Road intersect. On the north, the Maribyrnong River traces the edges and extends to other suburbs.
