History of Norwest On June 29, 2018, Norwest was recognised as a suburb. Initially, it was a part of the Baulkham Hills and Kellyville suburbs. On that date, the Geographical Names Board changed the boundaries of Kellyville, Baulkham Hills, Bella Vista, and Rouse Hill, establishing two new suburbs named North Kellyville and Norwest.
