History of Wondunna The term Wondunna was procured from an Aboriginal man named Willie Wondunna. Born on Fraser Island, he was directed to chase the notorious Kelly Gang in the 18th century. Moreover, the alternate tribal name of Wondunna was Caboonya. In 1995, the Fraser Coast Anglican College was established, which now serves as the major educational institution in the suburb. Located along Doolong S Road on the west, the school offers both primary and secondary levels.
