History of Cedar Creek The earliest settler in the area was Jessie Daniells, a European who formed a timbre mill within the expanse during the 1860s. Also, during this decade, more developments were incorporated into the community, including the construction of both Wesleyan church (1871) and Cedar Creek Vested School (1874). Then in 1913, the Cedar Creek School Arts commenced its operations.
