Edens Landing had 5,094 residents at the 2016 census.

History of Edens Landing Edens Landing was named after Henry Edens. He was a pioneer of the timber industry in the area in the 1860s and had a small residence on the bank of the Logan River. The place was initially called Holmview Heights after its southern neighbouring suburb of Holmview and was a farming area until the late 20th century. The Edens family collaborated with Leighton Holdings to develop residential settlements. As a result, the redeveloped locality was named Edens Landing in 1985.
