This suburb is residential and consists of Kedron Brook’s two tributaries’ headwaters, Cedar Creek and Kedron Creek. It has no schools, although there are schools for primary and secondary education in the nearby suburb, Ferny Grove.
History of Upper Kedron 1890 marks the opening of Upper Kedron Hall, and in 1898, the Cedar Creek Cemetery was opened. Cedar Woods Properties purchased 228 hectares of extended land that remains within the suburb for $68 million in 2014. It had a population of 3,432 at the 2011 census
