Living in Maiden Gully Maiden Gully has had massive growth in recent years. The growth of this suburb is mainly centred to the Southwest of Calder Highway and the north of Calder Highway in the Robin Hill Estate. There, however, remains some semi-rural acreages in the western part of Monsants Road.

History of Maiden Gully It is unclear where Maiden Gully got its name since the actual gully is 1 kilometre north of the suburb. Maiden Gully was the site of a gold discovery in 1859.
There were plans in 2014 to subdivide an area on Edwards Road for housing development. Thus the area was rezoned from farming to residential. There were also plans for a Maiden Gully Railway Station.
